Actions planned ahead for 2021-22, 2022-23

  • Applications invited for JMM scholarship – an initiative sponsoring the tuition fee of students doing Job Oriented courses and are from financially backward families. To download the application form click here.

Activities of 2021-22 & 2022-23

June / July 2021

  • In the month of June, we made plans to distribute notebooks to deserving students. A Notebook challenge was initiated, which received very good response and support from our well wishers. We thank all generous hearts, who supported our humble initiative to help the needy.
  • The pictures shared below on Book Distribution to our children studying at various institutions – NSS School Parakkadavu, CRHS Kuttipuzha, St. Joseph’s church Kalamassery, LMCC HS Chathiath, St. Francis Aluva, Guardian Angels school Manjummel, St. Joseph’s school Kalamassery, Govt. UPS Chirakkakam, Govt. UPS Kottuvally, St. Thomas school Perumanoor, Pius X school Edappally, St. Mary’s UPS West Cheranellore.
  • We thank Almighty Lord for HIS blessings to make our humble initiative fruitful by helping many deserving students living around us.

January 2021

The New Year started with a fund raising for a family consisting of 2 girls (classes 8 & 2) towards Heart Surgery of their father (bread winner of the family). Surgery scheduled on 19Jan21 at Lisie Hospital . AICUF ALMS members and their friends made small contributions – which made a total of Rs. 40,800/-. Chairman Rev. Fr. Joseph Poonely visited the family at their house and prayed together with them.

Activities of 2020

June 2020

AICUF-ALMS with the support of 4 members from the society, donated computers to 10 students in Kalamassery, Kerala – who belong to families with poor financial background. Rev. Fr. Poonely is distributing Personal Computer, received by Student and her mother.

July 2020

AICUF-ALMS donated Television to a student (Sahal) of Cardinal school, Thrikkakara, Ernakualm, Kerala – who lives with his brother and grand mother – parents died in the past. We were also able to provide some cash to support them.

Activities completed in August & September 2020

“Helping Hands” enabled us to place order for 30 x 24″ LED Televisions. Commenced Distribution of LED Televisions sets to deserving students completed – photos posted below (Faces are protected to respect the privacy of the recipients).

Activities completed in October 2020

“Generous Hearts” supported us to help two families involving 5 youngsters.

Laptop was donated to the parent of 3 college students (2 girls and 1 boy) studying for MSc and BSc courses.

Financial help given to other family of 2 youngsters (1 girl & 1 boy) to meet their basic needs.

AICUF-ALMS was blessed by the presence of Rev. Dr. Augustine Thottakara CMI (Prior, Christuraj House Karukutty former Provincial of Sacred Heart province), Rev. Fr. Jose Koluthara during the occasion of presenting Laptop to Mr. Jos – father of 3 college students (MSc and BSc), to support their online education. Rev. Fr. Poonely CMI (Chairman AICUF-ALMS – through video call) delivered message. Jiji Joseph and M.V.Jos organised the event.
