Rev. Fr. Joseph Poonely
Rev. Fr. Poonely is a member of CMI congregation – Carmelites of Mary Immaculate, who served as the Principal of one of the prestigious institution in India – Sacred Heart, Thevara .
During the past 7 years, Fr. Joseph served as the Spiritual Director of Chanda Diocese in Maharashtra. Now, serving as Spiritual Director at Mandya Diocese near Mysore.
Fr. Joseph has been active in Spiritual service as Director of Preaching Ministry at “Divine Vachana Ashram” – a spiritual retreat center, and also stood in the front to help the needy and poor students requiring financial help for their educational requirements.
AICUF activities at Sacred Heart College took a great shape during the time Fr. Joseph served in the College. One of his advice to student community is to attain integral development – holistic development of the human person, covering all aspects of life: social, economic, political, cultural, personal and spiritual.

Shri Kurian Joseph
Shri Kurian Joseph – former Judge, Supreme Court of India (2013-2018), is one of the ten Judges in the history of the Supreme Court of India who has delivered more than 1,000 Judgements.
Shri Kurian Joseph was appointed as a judge of the Kerala High Court in 2000. In February 2010, was appointed as Chief Justice of the Himachal Pradesh High Court.
Shri Kurian Joseph believes strongly that “Life is worthwhile with a smile”.
Shri Kurian Joseph always been an inspiration for Youth, to move in a direction of nation building, who strongly supported activities of compassion towards the weaker and needy members of our society.
